Approximate charge times

Charging times can vary depending on conditions.  If your battery (or the weather) is colder, it can take longer to charge, or if it is particularly flat at the time of charging.  The charge rate also tends to slow, the closer the battery is to capacity, so this can also affect the rate of charge drawn.

Below are some very approximate charging times:

Rapid chargers will dramatically slow down after the battery has reached 80% capacity and will often then trickle charge until full. Some models of EV will automatically stop drawing power at this point; consult your manual or dealership for full charging information for your EV.
