What to do if your RFID Access card is lost

If you misplace your RFID access card, please let us know immediately so we cancel the card and turn off the auto-renew feature.  This ensures that no-one else is able to use the card and you will not be billed.  If you have lost your card, you are liable for the cost of a replacement.  Your replacement will be a current Charge Your Car RFID  access card (at a cost of £20 per year), regardless of your original card.

To order a replacement card:

  1. Log in to your portal at
  2. Select the “Your account” link in the top right of the screen.  
  3. Select “Access Cards” from the drop down menu
  4. A new screen will appear with a blue “Purchase Card” link button.  Click this link and it will lead you through the steps to purchase a card.  

N.B. The ordering process may ask for payment details again, even if you have previously registered them.  This is so you have the option of having one card for your charge session billing and renewals and ordering with a different one.

You will receive an email confirming your order. Expect to receive your card within 3-5 working days
